No AI detector is 100% accurate, and anyone who claims otherwise is overselling. Probator combines our own detection model with several independent signals and shows a confidence level, plus the exact sentences and reasons behind the result. Short texts (under about 150 words) are much harder to judge, and we tell you when that's the case.

Text you check without saving is processed to run your checks and is not kept in your account. Documents you save stay private to your account until you delete them. We never use your documents to train models, and the language-model providers we use are contractually barred from doing so. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

A signed PDF that records the results of a check: AI likelihood, writing score, originality and hidden marks, with a fingerprint of the text. Anyone can open probator.ai/verify, enter the ID or scan the QR code, and confirm it's genuine. It records an analysis; it doesn't certify who wrote the text. Certificates are included in all paid plans.
Yes, with Article 50 transparency. Every check reports machine-readable AI marks found in your file, and our editor never removes them. On paid plans, certificates can include a human review record, and you can generate a matching disclosure label. Probator is not itself a legal opinion on whether you must disclose.
You can cancel anytime from your account and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. As an EU consumer you can withdraw within 14 days of subscribing; credits you already used are deducted from the refund.
